Earthy greens and cool blues work so well together because they’re analogous colors–colors next to each other on the color wheel. Working with the natural greens at Promise Ridge in Stroudsburg, PA, we were able to let those pastel blues shine in the floral designs for Kristinia and Brandon’s wedding.
The woodsy setting was the perfect location for a loosely gathered bridal bouquet with lots of texture in the blooms and greenery. The bride’s bouquet was designed using blue delphinium with blush, peach, and cream roses and spray roses and a hint of scabiosa and thistle. The bride requested similar smaller bouquets for the couple’s mothers, grandmothers, and aunt.
The groom, dressed in a navy blue, wore a boutonnière designed with a white spray rose and myrtle, as did the couple’s fathers, grandfathers, and uncle.
At the reception, the newly joined family gathered around one table topped with a table-length garland intertwined amongst various sized candles. This long lush garland was designed using blue delphinium, salal and silver dollar eucalyptus. The naked cake by Kitchen Chemistry, featured hydrangea and roses.
Congratulations to Kristinia and Brandon, who married on their 7th anniversary!
