A Jewel-Toned Spring Wedding

April showers bring May flowers–for Erin and Jack, bright flowers bloomed indeed! With freshly grown natural greenery at the Lodge at Mountain Springs in Reeders, PA, the couple chose jewel-toned florals to compliment the beauty of the outdoors.

The bride’s softly rounded bouquet was designed with lots of texture using pink and purple assorted roses, assorted tulips, boronia campfor, purple bacarat carnation, delft blue hyacinth, pink rosado ranunculus, and purple stock flowers with just a hint of greenery that consisted of Italian ruscus and salal tips. The bridesmaids held similar smaller bouquets, enhancing their emerald dresses. Dressed in black, the groom and groomsmen wore boutonnières with a subtle spray rose and eucalyptus berries, wrapped in black ribbon. These jewel-toned florals were also seen in the mothers’ wrist corsages and fathers’ boutonnières.

During the ceremony, the couple wedded in front of an arbor that displayed corner pieces created with assorted roses, tulips, peonies, anemone, delphinium, boronia campfor, purple bacarat carnation, huckleberry, purple stock flowers, Italian ruscus and salal tips. These lush pieces were then used at the reception as decoration at the sweetheart table–one at the base and one on the tabletop.

Upon entering the reception, guests were greeted with a seating chart draped in a Italian ruscus and seeded eucalyptus swag and inside the reception room, tables of assorted centerpieces. Some tables held tall gold stands that supported the same florals with Italian ruscus, silver dollar eucalyptus, and pillar candles at the base. Some tables held similar arrangements in gold vases and others held pillar candles in glasses that included greenery. Even more jewel colored florals were seen topped on the cake provided by the venue.

The bright, beautiful blooms for Erin and Jack’s spring wedding sure did blossom, just like the love of these two newlyweds!
