Bohemian Moon Inspired Elopement

What do you love about your partner and what is unique to your story? This question was answered by Kit and Shawn, and in return they were given a dreamy elopement at Promise Ridge in Stroudsburg, PA!

Coordinated and photographed by Renée Dee, the bohemian elopement took place on the night of a full moon–very fitting for a moon inspired ceremony. With this in mind, the florals were designed based on a lunar color palette of blues and purples.

The bride’s bouquet consisted of roses, lisianthus, delphinium, clematis and scabiosa–which was also seen in the couple’s two daughter’s bouquets. The groom’s boutonnière featured a prominent scabiosa bloom.

One of the coolest elements to this elopement was the custom moon, created by Handsawn, that the couple wedded in front of and then was used as reception decoration. Snapragons, stock, carnations, lisianthus, delphinium, and clematis were arranged around the moon to add a pop of those galactic inspired colors. Those same florals were arranged around the cake by Kitchen Chemistry to perfectly complement the orange accents on the cake.
