Weddings · A Classic Summer Wedding In this case, less color was more for Maggie and Josh’s intimate wedding at the Saucon Valley Country Club’s Weyhill Guest House in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. With a classic and fresh color palette of whites and greens, the bride’s softly rounded bouquet was created with lots of texture using garden roses, spray roses, dahlias, ranunculus, stock, snapdragon, scabiosa and hellebore with just a hint of greenery. In keeping with the bride’s bouquet, the bridesmaids held smaller loosely gathered bouquets that suited their dark navy gowns perfectly. Consistent with the bridal party, the groom and groomsmen’s boutonnières were elegant and classic with a white bloom and greenery. The white florals were carried into the reception where guests were first greeted with a seating chart donned with an Italian ruscus and floral garland. Gorgeous roses and delicate astrantia were just a few of the florals used in the centerpieces that sat amongst crisp white taper candles in glass holders on navy and chinoiserie printed tablecloths. At each table setting, a sprig of huckleberry was tucked into the chinoiserie printed napkin. Keeping the focus on the newlyweds, huckleberry greenery, Italian ruscus, playa blanca roses, polo roses, salal tips, dahlias, ranunculus, snapdragons, spray roses and stock were all arranged to spill over the front of the table where they sat. The second focus of a reception–the cake! The cake by Cozze Cakes was decorated with Italian ruscus. By keeping with a simple floral color palette, the natural beauty of the wedding flowers and greenery made enough of a statement.
