Cecilia & Albert’s summer wedding was so inspiring for us! By combining both traditional elements and personalized, intimate touches, the couple crafted a wedding day uniquely their own. The day began on Lehigh Campus with portraits, followed by a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Thomas Moore. The expansive stained glass of the chapel served as a foreshadow to the playful display of color and movement of their backyard reception space. After they said their vows and promised their love to each other, they traveled to one of the many covered bridges, iconic to the Lehigh Valley, for wedding party photos and couple’s portraits.
Finally, after a long day of traveling and formalities, they settled in to their intimate backyard reception for cocktails and merriment. Cecilia & Albert’s unique sense of style really comes forth through the design of their tented backyard celebration. The space was filled with pops of color and texture, yummy desserts, gorgeous blooms, cozy textiles, and dazzling lights! Truly a treat for the senses!
We had so much fun planning and designing this colorful & intimate summer wedding, and as always, Alison Conklin captured the day perfectly. *chef’s kiss* Congratulations to the happy couple!
