This year, Allium was lucky enough to provide florals for a fun Halloween party on October 21, 2023! We love doing unique and fun weddings and parties alike so when we got the request to put together a spooky landscape for this party, we were so excited!
The party was hosted at the Lehigh Country Club and we were able to transform one of their classically elegant rooms into a dark, ghoulish, interactive Halloween landscape. The first thing you see when walking into the room is a fabulous entry point of black umbrellas with black ribbons raining down from under them. You must walk through the ribbons to get into the room and you see the room lit up with orange and purple dim lights. It sets the mood perfectly for the prop skeletons we decorated around the room. We also placed two tall, dried leaf trees in the room which added to the spooky, deceased look throughout the room.
On all the tables, we used various skeleton bones to accent our centerpieces. We also used a mix of fresh and dried flowers to add to the fun textures and feel of everything else. One of the largest pieces we made was the mantelpiece. We, again, used a mix of dried and fresh flowers for the mantlepiece. There were lots of dark red fresh flowers used to darken the pieces, and we used some smilax to create a cascading, almost dripping effect off of the mantle. We also created a landscape of old books, pumpkins, candelabras, that surrounded the framed painting that had a skeleton popping out of it. This was such a fun piece to create and came out so spooky!
This project was so much fun to put together and we were able to use all of our design skills as well as our building and rigging skills when putting together the entrance pieces! Parties like this are so much fun to be a part of and we hope everyone had a great time. Happy Halloween everyone!
