This wedding was a Summer Camp dream! Christina and Thomas went all out with nostalgia by picking Pocono Spring Camp as their venue. They did a perfect job of blending the childlike spirit of camp cabins and outdoor games with the beautiful sophistication of a lakeside ceremony with deep red and burnt orange flowers.
The couple wanted classic autumn colored flowers with lots of ranunculus, scabiosa, mums, zinnia, eucalyptus, dahlia, and pepperberry for a slight draping look. The ceremony and reception featured many of the same flowers. We created a triangular altarpiece for the ceremony with asymmetrical floral designs. There were also lots of beautiful aisle pieces flanking the guests’ seats along with fun carpets leading to the altar.
I don’t know about you, but their wedding is so reminiscent of a Wes Anderson movie and the photographer, Pat Robinson, did such an amazing job at capturing that magic and uniqueness! The setting is beautiful and the photo of the invitations is exactly on brand. All the muted colors and interesting decor made this a movie-like experience!
This was such a wonderful time, designing a Summer Camp inspired wedding! Wishing the couple all the best!
