So many Lehigh Valley residents have fond memories of getting married at the Masonic Temple, overlooking the Bethlehem Steel. When it fell into disrepair, the Noble family purchased it and spent years lovingly restoring the mansion and rebuilding the wedding venue. Right down the road from our very own Allium design studio, the completed Wilbur Mansion is stunning, mixing a modern aesthetic with stunning woodwork from the late 1800s.
This gorgeous building features an enclosed secret garden for ceremonies overlooking the Lehigh river and steel stacks of Bethlehem, PA. The reception space is open, airy and white, the perfect backdrop to create just about anything you can imagine. We always suggest at least one elevated element in the space-be it centerpieces, a repurposed arbor structure, or our new wall panels with greenery-bringing the outdoors in.
And the Wilbur Mansion isn’t only a wedding venue, but they have a delicious restaurant that has sustainably and locally sourced ingredients and seasonally inspired dishes. This is also a cute, boutique hotel with nine separate and unique rooms, all with their own charm and comforts. They blend updated, modern amenities and decor seamlessly with the 1864 architecture of the building. It is such a unique place to enjoy a piece of Bethlehem’s history.
