This past March, we had the honor of designing the fresh florals for this lovely couple at the gorgeous Liberty House in Jersey City! This was such an extravagant wedding with so many moving parts but we loved every second of it! It was so much fun to design for the bride and groom to make their day that much more perfect for them.
The bride’s favorite flowers are anemone and roses so we used that as a jumping off point for her bouquet and all of her bridesmaids. She wanted to keep the colors more muted and on the cream and green side of things. But there were also some beautiful mauve colors to brighten things up! Her bouquet was a gorgeous cascading shape with plenty of anemone, roses, spray roses, stock, tulips, and more.
The ceremony had some real show-stoppers of floral columns. We made what we call a “broken arch” which are two tall columns arching slightly into each other at the top but not quite connected. The arches are filled to the brim with greenery and topped off with plenty of roses of white, cream and mauve with some other accent flowers to fill everything up. It was truly a gorgeous backdrop for the bride and groom to say their vows!
The reception was also incredibly perfect and dreamy with all the twinkle lights, flowers, moody candlelight and a lovely cake provided by Liberty House. Along with our table arrangements, bar spill arrangement, and sweetheart table decor, JR Floral created an incredible faux floral drape above the dance floor. It matched our florals and the mood of the Liberty House perfectly. There were also cute signs on the tables and throughout the reception from Socially Scripted.
The photographer, Hand and Arrow captured this couple’s special day so beautifully! From the first look outside on the patio, to the ceremony with the New York City skyline, to the twinkly nighttime reception, everything looks so beautiful, and the couple looks so happy! Cheers to their special day and we were so honored to be a part of it!
